-> Décor
This place ticked all the boxes for me, and I was so happy that I booked this place in advance (Otherwise you won’t be allowed in, its usually fully booked!).
Let's talk about food first! As you know, I am a vegetarian and I found lots of veggie options in this unique restaurant. The Turkish Garlic Bread, was honestly the best garlic bread that I have ever had, it literally melted in my mouth! What was amazing is that it did not feel oily or buttery but the textures were just right and it was baked to perfection!
The next thing we had was a platter of dips with bread. The dips were so delicious and had a nice mixed cuisine feel to it, it had chutneys and hummus and was just so awesome! I would say this was more Mains than Starters, I like to mix and match!
Another Mains that we had were the Zucchini flowers, with beetroot jam. This was also very delicious, there was a cheese filling inside which just oozed out as soon as you cut the zucchini flowers, this was again one of the most delicious zucchini flowers that I had.
Let’s talk about the décor of the restaurant next, it was rustic and classy and retro and had some amazing retro pieces on display. The fire place also added to the appeal and gave it that extra charm!
Last but not the least, the location! This is a wedding venue, so you can imagine how charming the place is. You can easily spend an hour just walking in the grounds, there is a beautiful lake and a chapel and it makes for really wonderful surroundings. The restaurant itself looks very pretty on the outside and so cozy and rustic on the inside!
